Where is Georgia? Georgia is situated in the South Caucasus at the crossroads where Europe meets Asia.
What’s in Georgia for me? Great question! Do you like mountains? Do you like to be beside the sea? Do you like skiing? Do you like breathtaking scenery? Do you like history and tradition? Do you like great food and wine? Do you like a business friendly environment and low taxes? You do? So do we! Georgia has all of these things and much more.

The Bridge of Peace in Tbilisi
Didn’t Georgia used to be part of the Soviet Union? Yes, it declared independence on April 9, 1991. It is now a democratic republic, with the President as the head of state, and Prime Minister as the head of government.
The current President is Mikheil Saakashvili, seen here meeting U.S. President Obama.
Mikheil Saakashvili has worked tirelessly to reform and modernise Georgia.
Who are we? We live and work here and think Georgia is a land of amazing diversity, hospitality and opportunity!

Thank you Clanmother! Welcome aboard!
I just picked up a copy of the New Yorker – don’t know what issue in a doctor’s office yesterday, and there was an article about Donald Trump and the President? of Georgia. They are very close. I thought that explains the architecture. My memories of Georgia in 1992 were of Georgian men coming to the hotel in Dnepropetrovsk, as sort of a vacation from war, and behaving abominably to waitresses and all, and also going to the market and staying away from them, but going to old Ukraining women. Your blog has totally changed this image.
Donald Trump wants a Trump Tower in Batumi and visited here to discus it with the President. Things have changed a lot in Georgia – there has been much progress and I am trying to show this with the blog.
amazing, heartening to see the architecture-gives one tremendous hope; if we are surrounded by beauty, it will affect us. The outside and the inside are reciprical i think; high regards, and my wishes for an esteemed pat of Bassa’s forehead, mighty indeed it is, and regards to the rest of what i assume is a wonderful family.
Thank you! You are right. Beautiful architecture and art reminds people that it is better to create than destroy.
And yet another award for you
Just thought I’d drop by to let you know how fabulous I think your blog is, and let you know I’ve mentioned it in my list of Addictive Blogs. There’s an award that goes with the mention – feel free to just know that it’s there or pass it on. Thanks for sharing your stories with us; I look forward to them arriving in my inbox! x http://wp.me/p1m5Gv-Mw
